World Pheasant Association

The World Pheasant Association (WPA) is a registered charity founded in 1975 which aims to develop and promote the conservation of all the species within the order of the Galliformes, otherwise known as the game birds. Apart from pheasants, this also includes partridges, grouse, quail, francolins, megapodes and cracids, some of which are the most beautiful, yet threatened birds in the world.

Green Peace

Greenpeace is playing an important role in pushing companies to improve their environmental records. In doing so, it hopes to raise the level and quality of public debate on corporate social responsibility in China. Greenpeace China aims to do the following: Protect ancient forests; Eliminate toxic chemicals; Stop climate change; Food and Agriculture; Air Pollution. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was established on December 14, 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. The agency is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees. It strives to ensure that everyone can exercise the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another State, with the option to return home voluntarily, integrate locally or to resettle in a third country.

China Bear Rescue

Since they began their work in October of 2000, over 40 bear farms have been closed down by the Government and over 245 bears released into the care of Animals Asia at our Moon Bear Rescue Center in Sichuan. Their mission is to save and rehabilitate bears and to release them into the wild, and people can help by writing letters, signing petitions, starting a support group or making donations.
